Mythologies x Intertextuality
A stop-motion video collage project that depicts an example of how the theories of mythologies and intertextuality can be actualized together. Both theories are similar in their views that readers may be influenced in their ways of seeing, readers can add another layer/depth to a text, and readers can build up on previously experienced/familiar texts.

The differences between the two theories are in their processes of making meaning. Myth texts can be read in reference to cultural associations while intertextuality texts are read in reference to another text/book. Myth reading has multiple layers, while the intertext of texts can be missed by the reader if they do not immersed in various different texts.
